I think bridal shops sell garters, but Im not sure cus I didn't wear one.
And all the untiy candles I found were grossly overpriced. Its one of the easiest DIY projects you can do!! My mom made ours.
Can you tell me how to DIY?

I'm not wearing a garter, I see no need for it, I'm not doing the garter toss. They sell unity candles at bridal shops and at Party City. You can also DIY it. That's what I'm doing. My mom bought a big white pillar candle and two tapers, and we are going to put some sort of decorations on it, probably crystals.

I love the apparently. Haha. I ordered mine on e-bay if you wanted to do a sport's team or something but you could also just do one to match your color scheme. I think the ones in the stores are totally overpriced. Check out e-bay because you can find one for pretty cheap that is exactly what you wanted. Good luck!

I am not doing the garter toss thing so I am not wearing a garter. You can buy them at all of the craft stores like michaels for a basic one - specialty shops like Chantilly lace in Port Jeff and huntington have many - online you can find any style/theme you like. Check out vendors such as beverly clark or simply charming.

I got an amazing garter for $3 plus shipping (4.95) on ebay - factorydirectwedding was the vendor. I am not doing the bouquet toss / garter thing either, but I wanted to get a garter anyhow for tradition's sake. Here is a picture of mine. It came very fast and was exactly as advertised. They had lots of others, too.
im not doing the toss but i'm having my aunt make my garter for me. i figured if she doesnt come through then it doesnt matter anyway. but if she does i'm going to wear it
unity candles are the BIGGEST rip-off! some are like $40-$60!!! i plan to just get a plain pillar for $5 at Ikea
