do you color your hair??

I just got highlights...but I'm missing my natural redness

No I do not. My hair is as plain as it could possibly be.

I used to color my hair in HS, but I haven't in years. It's my wonderful natural color of BROWN!

Julz, I have black hair also, and people always think I dye it. I was in the salon once, and the woman next to me would not believe it was natural. I was like, look at my eyebrows!

My hair is all different colors... black, brown, red and even blonde in some places! You can't really tell from my picture but it looks like I have all sorts of crazy highlights in the front, but that is just the way my hair is. My sisters hair is similar except hers is dirty blonde with all different color streaks of blonde throughout.

Wow, Julie .. that actually sounds pretty cool! People pay big money to have different shades of highlights and lowlights put in their hair!

I've recently begun doing highlights..

I have to double process it, since I lighten my base color to begin with to medium brown. I started trying out the highlights since I wanted to see how they'd look for when I got married. They look very nice, but its SO costly to keep this entire process up! I'm doing it until the wedding, then back to brown!!

oh yes i do!

my mom went grey very early in life. I inherited that from her. I am not completely gray (she was by her mid 30's) but I have to color it practically once a month. I have brown/black hair but I get mahogany highlights put into it.
