I am getting married NEXT October, I have booked my venue (FI always laughs at that -VENUE), the church, and have gotten into a pre-cana class locally(in Baltimore). I already have my florist (family friend).
What should I tackle next (besides another glass of wine)? And what suggestions do you all have to whom when it comes to vendors?

Wow, you're really well on your way. I would say the next to things you should tackle are your music and your dress and bridesmaid dresses. If you want a specific DJ or band, you might as well try to get that over with too. Once you get your majors, then you can take a little break from planning.

After booking my Venue I immediately booked our band. FH and I knew already which band we wanted, so it was just a matter of getting our place first before making the call to the band. Bands/DJ seem to book up pretty fast, so I would definitely look into doing that soon!

i would say the band - they tend to book way in advance - the limo - and start looking at dresses

Definately the band. If you're planning on getting your hair and/or make-up done, I'd recommend setting up a couple trials, because some artists are booked really far in advance!
