aww I wish I was there now! Dh said next year we can proberly go. yeah!! so i will meet everyone than or when we have a suffolk gtg on a weekend one day.

Brad and I had a really nice time. We won a DVD player, which was an added bonus. However, Julz, Brad wanted me to let you know he would GLADLY trade the dvd player with you and Ray for the plasma!

It was so nice meeting new people and seeing those I had met before! I'll upload my pics a little later.

It wasn't exactly what I expected. I wish there was a chance for everyone to mingle a bit more. I would have liked to meet more of you. The food situation was a little weird, I just didn't get the whole sharing thing. The chocolate fountain was yummy. We stopped by Jillians afterwards to meet a few of the classless crew. Throughout the entire night we got to meet and hang out with some really nice people so it was definitely worth the $25 pp in that respect.

Lori, I have to agree that it was a little hard to meet everyone and talk, since the music was so loud. I find it much easier to socialize at the smaller GTGs that we plan on our own.

The music was WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY TOOOOOOOO LOUD. I have a sore throat from yelling!!

And I believe nferrandi introduced herself to me and I didn't hear a word she said (and she didn't have a name tag) so I just nodded and smiled I felt bad because she looked so familiar and it was driving me crazy ... I had to search for her wedding pics when I got home (once I put together I thought it was her ... actually all I heard was Randy and I was like ... Hmm, I can't think of anyone names Randy!). So Nicole , I had promised I would be nice NICE TO HAVE MET YOU!

All in all, a good time.

I was perplexed (and kept yelling out WHO IS SHE??) why when someone won something, Ron didn't announce who the person was (screen & real name).

ETA: I haev no pictures because my camera was not cooperating

I'm sorry we were not able to go. I still wasn't feeling very well. It was funny to hear about the singer from the band. . If you have any more pics from the WOTY, I would love to see them!

I don't know if you were there last year, but last year Ron actually passed the mic around to everyone and we all had to introduce ourselves and state our screenname!!
very awkward, plus it took FOREVER!!!!!!
But, it was nice because we knew who people were across the room and could approach them directly, instead of scoping out the name tags...

Again, though, even just the people who won prizes, he could have just read their tags when they were up there. When BriBri won the earrings I was screaming because she looked sooooooo familiar and it was driving me nutz that I couldn't figure out who it was!
