Oksana Make up

I scheduled a make up trial with her but I just realized that I didn't ask if she does airbrushing and i don't see it on her website.

does anyone know if she uses airbrushing?

if not, i want to cancel the trial since i def want airbrush.

im such an idiot for not asking...i guess i just assumed she did.

my main reason for wanting airbrush was that i have gotten it before and i loved how it felt and it lasted all day...

girls who used oksana...did ur makeup last all day?

sorry didn't use her so i have no clue but ppl do rave about her.

I also went for airbrush so thats why looked for somebody who did airbrush, so i understand.

umm.. she does do airbrush. she feels reg foundation is better cuz its more detailed. (from what i understood) but she def does it. esp when she works for fashion shows

ive heard she uses it for fashion shows but when brides asked for it on wedding day she has said no, unless she stopped doing that. I had asked too before i ever set up any trials and she said no to me about airbrush

i get make up done by her often, it always lasts.

i had asked a long time ago so not sure if things changed. This was in 07 lol but from what i see, seems like its the same now.

Although, i have to say that airbrush used at a fashion show is different than airbrush used on a bride. My MU artist says she uses different airbrush on brides which is water proof than when she does photo shoots, fashion shows and so on. She says those are all silicone based so alot thicker and not meant for all day stay. Well silicone based for fashion shows but for certain photo shoots theres a 3rd type of airbrush used thats even heavier than the other 2 and meant for just a short period of time

lol so confusing. but i know my make up stayed on my greasy oily sweaty skin. and if it stays on my face, itll def stay on any1 elses lol

she did regular on you right?

i have a wedding to attend and i think im gonna use her, for someone elses wedding dont mind not having airbrush. I should contact her soon though hmmm

shes prob booked, but try. i wanted her to do my make up for my bros wedding, but shes booked. do u knwo anywhere ic an go around my area thats GOOD. and do NOT say christies lol

lol dont worry i won't say christie's. Unfortunately, dont really know a lot of places in Queens, thats why i wanted to try Oksana. A lot of salons don't have a steady make up artist and those that do, i haven't really used well except christie's lol. If i hear anything i'll let you know.

A lot of ppl talk about spectrym in Forest Hills, but never used them.

Yes!! It lasted all day except for the lipstick (she gave me little samples of it for my day). Even my sisters (MOHs) commented on how it lasted and everyone in my BP was very happy with her. But, if you've had airbursh before and are definitely det on having it, then I would look elsewhere.
If your'e interested, I had a great airbrush trial w/Karen Wysoki (vendor here). She uses all MAC products and is really good and very sweet. Actually she was my first choice for my wedding but by the time I called her she was booked.

thanks ladies! i am just gonna keep my appt and see how i like it without the airbrush...all of her work i have seen is great so i'll give it a shot!

dont cancel!!!! she is amazing! look at my photos first...i have skin that is broken out and it looks flawless...

Don't cancel!!! Oksana is amazing. She's trained in all make up but she believes that traditional foundation looks better and lasts longer...and she's probably right! I had a trial with her and my make up lasted 10 hours...until I washed it off for bed.
