Is anyone doing this? Where are you putting it? What should the sign say near it?

Yes I am doing the same thing. I wasn't sure if I was going to put a sign but I do like the 'all because two people fell in love' quote. But we have a table that is by the doors that let you into the reception hall so we were going to put them there so people can see as they enter.
This! I'm not doing a sign, but I'm putting them all on the table where the placecards will be. We are using pictures of all of our grandparents and our parents.

Old family wedding pictures - Long Island Weddings
Both of my parents have passed away. To afford the morid and sad memorial table I am planning on DIYing a candle with a photo of them at their wedding and anniversary. I haven't decided where I am going to put it yet but I am not going to be putting a sign.
