Old Field Club

For any of you lucky Old Field brides out there... just thought i would share some info. I haven't had a tasting yet.(Althouh FH and I went to a Christmas party there when we first starting dating) Tom mentioned to me that they are planning a tasting toward the end of Febuary. He made it sound like he was going to do it for a group of different brides. Asked me about a Sat. unfortuanalty Saturdays are aweful for me, I told he Sundays would be amazing. So if you haven't tasted the food here's your chance.

That's great to know, thanks so much!!! Could you let me know when you have a date? I live in Boston but would plan to be down that weekend if there's a tasting. Actually, I should probably call the OFC myself and ask Tom just so he know's we'd be coming. Are you allowed to bring anyone else aside from your fiance?

YAY...I HOPE ALL THE RENOVATIONS ARE DONE BY THEN SO WE CAN SEE ALL THE NEW GOODIES!!!

When I was there like 2 weeks ago the deck was being worked on, but very quickly I am sure it is almost done!! They also were doing some wood staining inside.. I cant wait!!!


Tom also told be to go to both the bakerys on the list to to tasting with themeach.. He said this way he can eat more free cake..lol
He said La Bonne Boulangerie was more arsty. But both great! You will deal with them directly for the upgrades on cakes if you have any!

Hey ladies, I left Tom a message asking about the tasting. As soon as I get info from him I'll post it here and let you all know. I suppose that's as good a time as any to FINALLY book a florist too. It ain't easy being an out of towner!!!

I hope to meet you all there! Are you guys planning on attending if there is one?

Sorry to crash - my best friend is getting married there in August and she said they do testing once a month when they have the club dinners. They put you in a separate room and you can try everything on the money. I believe they are going towards the end of February.

Tom the Bm told me this as well. Onfortunalty everyday he mention didnt work for us. That is why I believe he is planning the special one. Thanx again for the info though it is greatly appreciated.. good looking out!
