Old Field Club Brides question

We went to look at OFC this past weekend and I loved it. I just had a concern about the food, I heard that it is very good but to me it seemed like they serve a lot less than most RHs. Part of the problem may be that we went to Lombardi's on the Bay first and they serve an insane amount of food. But i did look around at menus from other RHs and to me it definitely seems like they serve a lot less especially during the CH.

Are there any OFC brides that felt this way?

I loved OFC as well and had the same concern. I have heard it is more then enough food from other people on here though.

My parents said the same thing when we signed the contract, we switched out one of the cocktail hours antipastas for a Mediterranean type station, we also added to passed hor de ouerves because FH wanted tuna tartar...

We discussed it because it's on price with everything else but they give you less food, we decided that we love the place regardless and there's always too much food at cocktail hour anyway, that way people will just eat their food at the reception.

It's also a very different type of RH where they are cooking solely for your party whereas the larger venues cook by bulk for more than one party per day and I can't say if others aren't as fresh but I know OFC is. We did a tasting and the food was amazing and we looked into the kitchen too!

Sorry this got sooo long! FM me if you have any other questions about OFC!!! I love it there!!!

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding there last year. I have to be honest and say there was no where near enough food at the CH. The reception was fine. But at the CH there wasn't much at all and they didn't refill the hot stations. I never noticed one passed tray.

Also, just so your aware, the day of this wedding it rained, so the cocktail area was inside and it was SOOOOOOO tiny with no AC. So please make sure they have a better option for your guests now in case of rain.

The food that I had was excellent though and the place is soooooo gorgeous, we have amazing pictures from the wedding.

I wouldn't worry!! Most Long Island weddings serve excessive amounts of food that is just wasted!! I think sometimes less is more!!
