Hey girls, I know a lot of ppl are looking for cheap flip flops for their bridal party & to do baskets of them at the reception. I just saw a commercial last night that Old Navy is doing their $1 flip flop sale this Saturday only. I did this for my wedding and saved a ton, I think you can order online and still get the deal- at least in 09 I was able to.

I checked the text I got about the sale from Old Navy and it's IN STORE ONLY, NO ONLINE.
How many pairs should I get? I was thinking 75 for my 150 guests...
Are you doing men and women?? If you are only doing women then I think that 75 is too many IMO

In case anyone can't make it to ON for the sale (what, with it being the end of the world and all ), dollartree.com has two styles of ladies flip flops that they sell in boxes of 48. They do the size assorting for you which takes some of the guess-work out. The thing I love about this option is you can have them ship the order to your local store and pick them up so you don't have to pay for shipping!!!! If I have the money left over in my budget I am hoping to do this.

For those of you who can't make it on Saturday or those of you who don't have the patience to purchase 5 at a time, Old Navy flip flops tend to be on sale at the Outlets. They usually have a 2 for $5 deal. Wait for them to have the 'Stuff and save' sale and you can save an additional 20%.
HTH...Have a great weekend

Re: Old Navy Flip Flop sale
I was up bright and early today to grab some $1 flip flops. I bought 60 pairs. At the Old Navy in Deer Park they were not strict with the 5 pp limit. I bought in batches of 15 only because I couldn't carry anymore...Plus, the manager had a soft spot for all the brides to be! :)

I was there at 7 am (I'm nuts!) when the store opened...there were a lot of people there but Old Navy seems to have a lot of stock!

Re: Old Navy Flip Flop sale
Tanger Outlets Deer Park had a good amount, but the one in Bay Shore restocked their shelves. I wound up with 65 pairs between the 2 stores.... there was a 10 limit this morning, so I made trips... but then I picked up 25 at around 11:15 am at the Bay Shore location right off of Sunrise Hwy next to Barnes & Nobles, Target, BMW, Lowes.
Good luck girls!

Re: Old Navy Flip Flop sale
FYI I ordered flip flops yesterday on ON website and I got them for $2.50 a pair with FREE shipping plus 15% off!!! I'm happy at least this worked out for me... Not as good as $1.00 a pair but hassle free :). I ordered 50 in 5 different colors and 5 sizes. I am inviting a total of 140 people so I hope its enough...

I went - they had boxes and boxes of them in white brown black and blue in the bayshore location - there was a line around the store non stop and they were not running out at all!

This sounds like a good idea to me! Where did you get the 15% off coupon?
