No, but that is my dream! We did renovate our 1960's colonial though I know it's not the same. We have gone through hel l with renovating this house and DH said he will not touch an historic house. I'm determined to change his mind!

Are you renovating one? Please share! I def. wanna see pics!

We are in the process of doing some renovations to a 1936 Brick Colonial. Fortunately, we don't have an enormous amount of work to do.

Hi - Our house is a 1902 Victorian. It doesn't need MAJOR work but it does need some. We have started but I was hoping to find someone to shares ideas and get information with. We really want to restore things inside rather than replace. The walls are plaster and the upstairs wood has been painted etc... So it is a lot of work. The downstairs wood work is fine though. But the majority of the house is FLORAL wall paper that needs to gO!

The second pic is dinning room/sitting room

I dont want to pi$$ anyone off but you should cut down that tree in the front. You can't see your beautiful house! JMO. (by the way- I really dont' like cutting down trees unless it's completely nescessary- just something I saw right away.)

I would see if you can research the history of the house and see what the walls used to look like. I am sure there is some information on the history of the house at your local library, or on the internet....This is only if you are interested in restoring the house to its original glory.
