Re: Old westbury gardens
I called somewhere yesterday in regards to engagement pics at the Oakdale arboretum..Im sure they can tell you how far ahead you should reserve it. Better sooner than later incase other weddings choose to go there too on the same day.
Book them as soon as possible. They only take 3 'groups' per day, and each slot is 1.5 hours long. They fill up ridiculously quickly, so if you're sure you want your pictures there, I'd book them now.

We are getting married this September and booked OWG in April . . . I definitely wouldn't wait until the last minute if your date is during the high season as they tend to book up fast.

Re: Old westbury gardens
Are the botanical gardens nicer than OWG ...i know its more of a personal preference but .if i want more of articutural buildings and more options which one would be better

Re: Old westbury gardens
I was looking into the botanical gardens as well but they dont have an indoor area you can take pics incase it rains. OLW is the only place i could find that wasnt too far that had both options.
