Old Westbury Gardens Midsummer Night
So I got a call from Kim from the wedding photography dept at Old Westbury Gardens. She informed me that on my wedding day there will be lanterns and fairies (or ferry..i don't know) and other things set up for their midsummer event that weekend.Has anyone ever been during this time? If so, is it still ok for pics. I am concerned that it may affect my wedding photos. Kim says that she never had couples complain who took pics during this time but I am not sure if she is just telling me that so I will still book.
I need a place that is has both outdoor and indoor locations in case it rains. We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Westbury so this was our best choice. Now I don't know what to do.
Everytime I think I got everything together something stresses me out.

Old Westbury Gardens Midsummer Night
I think that it sounds really pretty! I love Old Westbury Gardens, I wouldn't stress about it, but then again I love the idea of lanterns and fairies. However, the property is so vast that even if you don't how some areas may be decorated, I'm sure there will be plenty of locations for you to get amazing shots.

Thank you. I'm starting to feel better. I've never been, but from what I see online the grounds are large so hopefully I will still get some shots.

I think it sounds pretty also. There are so many different places for pictures I'm sure you'll be okay. Sounds like it'll look beautiful even with the decorations.

LOL!!
The thing is we are scheduled for 3:30 pm. It will still be light outside so the lanterns most likely won't be lit. It should still be ok though.
