A friend of mine is my age and is looking into freezing her eggs (she's single, dating like mad to find Mr. Right). I think its a great idea - esp since I am going into my mid 30s (now 33) and never keen on being a mommy. FH and I aren't planning on having kids but if by chance an 'accident' happened, we would proudly assume parental roles..
but I'm not sure if I may change my mind after I turn 35 or 40 so am thinking of freezing my eggs. Its pricey but I could swing it, and the storage fees are not too crazy..
any of you considered this or have family or friends who have done this? and if so, what centers do you or they recommend? my friend was looking into NYU Fertility Center...

Re: Older brides: Freezing Eggs (Fertility)?
FH and I aren't financially ready for a family but we've discussed that option. I'm over 30 and always placed career first. I was told the treatments were painful and I hate pain!! Not sure what to tell ya, they say the procedure is experimental but the stats show that a large percentage of IVF implantations result in successful live births.
