Let me tell you how a manager from a certain bridal shop is getting a ear full tomorrow I can't effn believe what this woman said to my BM.
We went tonight to get her measured. The normal girl I deal with wasn't there but I didn't feel like coming back again. So this woman measures my friend( Shes alittle chubby in the belly, but she had a baby 5 months ago and its winter!! You always gain lbs in the winter) Anyways' she tells my friend what size to order then say...ready- SHE NEEDS TO LOSE 3 INCHES IN HER WAIST TO FIT IN THAT SIZE... Wait what!?!?!? First off you have no idea what the dress looks like.. trust me she doesn't need to lose sh!t. Second. Who the Fock are you to tell my friend she needs to lose weight?? It gets better, she then tells her, her bust size is fine for this size and so are her hips but she HAS A BELLY THAT SHE HAS TO LOSE TO GET IN THAT DRESS...UGHHHHHHHHHH
How do you tell my friend who has trouble loosing weight after the baby that she has a belly that she has to lose.. I am calling tomorrow and telling them that I'm going to take my business else where. How dare you speak to my friend like that!

WOW i can't believe they said that to your friend! They should be ashamed, thats horrible! I'm curious to what Bridal shop you are talking about?!?!?
I'm glad your going to yell at them and that your going to take your business else where though! Good luck! I hope you and your bridesmaid have a better experience!

Best part is my friend that was measured, had a bad experience there when she was going for her gown when she got married, so she already had a bad feeling about them. I reassured her the girl I deal with is very nice. (Which she is). And now this! She was so upset ad now hates that place even more and I won't be surprised if she reports them to BBB (Not bed bath and beyond lol). They are a pretty well known place too! I'm so disappointed.

She has a mouth and I'm proud she held her composure in the store. Because I were her I would have ringed her neck.

Im going to play devil's advocate here, but did you have the size chart in front of you as she was being measured? The dress should be ordered to your Bm's largest measurement (im guessing her tummy)... Was she trying to squeeze her into a smaller size and then saying she had to lose weight for that size? or was your BM insisting on a certain size?

Good your friend said that because that was some nasty sh*t for that lady to say that to your friend. She could've said it differently. That lady is so lucky because if it was someone else she would've been cursed out in all ways possible lol.

The woman said to my friend that her chest and hips fit such and such size but she would have to lose 3 inches in her stomach area for that size. She never once said or you can go with a bigger size and just take it in. This woman didn't even know what kind of dress I had nor the cut on it. all she knew was is that she should get this one size and just have to lose her belly because thats a problem.

wow... i dont even work at a bridal store and i even know i would just order up a size... you would think that they would wanna make money on alts right? lol

This woman was a freakin a-hole! The one I normally deal with is actually a 09 bride to, but doesn't chat on the boards. I made sure to message her with what happened. Hopefully she can inform the right person about my situation. I'm refusing to send my ther girls in there.. One of them is pregnant,, Is she gonna have something to say about that too! Oy!

That is so NOT cool... The lady at my bridal salon told me I need to lose 5-10lbs and I can tell you that totally ruined my dress fitting experience! Some people nee to get some manners!!!
