Just went to the Flower District for the first time and it was amazing! They have anything and everything! All kinds of vases and candleholders, tons of hanging crystals and flowers (real and silk), bags for slippers or bottles of wine! I didnt want to leave!
FH used to bring flowers home from there when we lived in the city

I set out to go there because I needed to find a cylinder vase to use as a candle holder for my memorial candle. I bought a candle holder from Michael's over the weekend but it is too fat for me to wrap a sheet of vellum around. I searched all over for legal sized sheets of vellum but it doesnt exist. So, I had to find a cylinder candle holder that was 3 inches in diameter and I wanted it today. I am all about instant gratification. I have read about the flower district and since what I was looking for was also considered a vase I figured I would look there and I FOUND IT! It was only $4.00. I also discovered that the flower district is one of my new favorite places!
They seriously had EVERYTHING though...not just flowers. It was like save-on-crafts but a store in NYC and the prices were amazing!

I am a total sparkle-*****. I am drawn to whatever glittery thing is around, lol! This place has so much crystal and silver and shiny and sparkly...I couldnt leave. I wanted it all, *****!
