OMFG I may SHOOT my dad!

out of everyone he has been the BEST during this whole process. Til today he sends me an email 'we have to invite soandso'

i'm like really dad the invites are DONE, addressed and ready to go so fine I'll bring you a blank one you can take care of it

then i check my list. SOANDSO IS ON IT ALREADY!!!! i'm actually going to go CRAZY people are driving me NUTS!!! I don;t know whether to laugh, cry or bang my head so all will have to do!

take a breather ... it'll be ok!

just be happy tat so-and-so will get a 'pretty' (addressed) invite and you don't have to worry about giving your dad that blank one.

That is so funny. My dad did this to me yesterday. I asked him way back in 09 when i first started planning if he wanted to invite anyone and he said not really. so now with like 4 months to go he wants to add a couple and someone else to the list. My invites are all pre printed and all guests names on it. I was so luckly that i was able to catch the printer before she mailed them to me.......must be a dad thing

FH did this to me....he was on the fence with inviting a friend to the wedding. He says we sent them a STD, but I didn't have his address in my little address book so I didn't think we sent one out. We finalized the list, and I told FH we needed to cut some people, and this friend was one we were considering cutting. We see the friend and his wife last week, and she's asking about the wedding, and I could not for the life of me remember if we kept them on the list or cut them, so I just nodded along and told FH later that we're gonna have to invite them now.

I get my invites tomorrow so I will soon find out if they get a pretty invite or a handwritten one.
