My SIL is about 35 weeks and went for a sono last night - baby is about 7lbs 10oz now and they said he'll gain about 1/2lb week until delivery!!!!
He's going to be huge!

Women have been having big babies for hundreds of years. The sonograms are only estimates anyway...often times just scarying the mom-to-be or 'helping' OBs to talk about induction.

Well, that's the thing. SIL wants to have a vaginal birth, but now she's very worried. She spoke to her sister who had a c-section and she said she felt the doctor scared her into having it.
My mom said that the baby is measuring as if it's 38 weeks in the womb, so maybe he'll be early and I'll get to see him at Thanksgiving
