OMG

Just got an email from my bridal manager that he is leaving our hall effective COB Wednesday!!! His supervisor is going to take over and do our wedding but OMG I have 19 days left!!

Sorry, had to vent.

Take a deep breath and don't worry!! I think you are OOT like I was (am I right?) so I know it's even harder to keep a handle on the details from far away. I would definitely call the supervisor on the phone and go over everything with him/her while you're still a few weeks out and can still think straight - timing, names of vendors, all special requests, etc. Just in case your BM is leaving under bad terms, you don't want any details to get lost in a hasty exit. Also, it never hurts to tell someone you're looking forward to working with them. Everything will be fine!!!!

I agree with Melissa, Just make an appointment to go over everything, whether over the phone or face to face. I had our Banquet Manager leave sometime before our menu selection, so when we got to CB for our menu tasting we had NO IDEA he was gone. In the end everything went perfectly and there was no issues at all.

thanks girls. I just made an appt to meet with the supervisor, but this is just adding more stress than i wanted.
