OMG a little over budget

So FH and I just tried to figure out how much our weddings will total.......and it's a bit higher than expected

Are any of you ladies finding the same thing happening

We totaly knew it woudl get out of hand, so we're just taking it in stride and cutting corners in other ways, like we dont eat food at all now, we just drink water.

Just think you'll look fantastic for you wedding day!!

Sigh. I am just begining the wedding planning, but it looks like we need to rethink the budget. I want to have a kosher wedding, so that makes things more expensive. Sigh.

When I first started, I had no idea how much money we would be spending on one day!!

Although I was not looking into a Kosher wedding, I did see that before we booked our RH a lot of RH's advertise Kosher food. I may be telling you something you already know Maybe it won't be extra with some places

yes constantly! lol luckily my mom paid for my dress and is paying for our hall..so thats helping alot!

My mom is paying for dress and all that goes with it. I am trying to get the invites out of her too!

YES! As per FH's budget request, we are already about $20 G's over .....I TOLD him it wouldn't be cheap! lol

wow i would have a heart attck if i went that much over budget!! we can barly afford what we are at now!! and thats just under 20K we had gone over at one point and i was like no wayyyyyyyyyy cut a few more corners and got back to where i had to be lol

wow..good for u.. you are def. the budget diva!!! It takes a strong person to step back and say no to things!!! i think it gets hard cause it's just too easy to get caught up in everything. I knew ahead of time i didn't want to have a 60,000 wedding.. not that there is anything wrong with that.. that's GREAT if you can do it.. but i knew we couldn't. We'd be in debt forever... and actually If it wasn't for my mom we'd be going to city hall and having a dinner at arby's afterwards...lmaooooooo

Also, part of the reason we planned our wedding for a year and a half from our engagement date was so that we would have time to pay for things.
