OMG another bug rant!

OMG another bug rant!

What are these little jumping brown grasshopper thingies with long antennas that are everywhere? ***? They're outside thank God but still. My mother put a plant outside and I brought it in (I thought she just put it out but it was out for a day) and I even shook it out and inspected it. I get it upstairs and I see one of these things on a box. Next thing I know, I see about 15 more, on the walls, on the rug!!! You know I killed every single one I saw but I am itchy and paranoid now that there are more. And of course that *&%^^%# plant went back out and is never coming back in. Everytime I see a shadow or something move, I jump. LI has the most bugs I've ever seen.

When is it going to get cold??????

Are they crickets? I know we sometimes get them in our living room- don't ask me how they get in. There seem to be so many 'noisy bugs' around on Long Island. I think I'm getting used to sleeping with all of the nighttime noise!

It is that most wonderful time of the year when the bugs get cold outside and want a nice toasty place to live- aka your house.

YUCK....I hate bugs.. I mean, I know they have an important purpose to the ecosystem but my home is NOT an ecosystem, in my opinion. So I give them a choice- stay outside or die.

Oh God, they are crickets! Why did I think crickets were those big as* bugs that shed their skin and leave it on the tree bark? There are definitely more in here because I can hear them.

Oh, Elizabeth, I feel for you. I hate bugs...and especially hate the crickets that have invaded my house!!

My mom says that a singing cricket in your home is considered good luck. I guess we're going to be very lucky ladies!!

The big as* bugs that shed their skin are cicadas. Thankfully, we haven't had any of those in the house...yet.

I had a three crickets in my house lately! I hope that means some good luck - because I sure can use it!
