OMG Chris went home

i just watched it again on my DVR recorder and darn...i can't believe how ryan seacrest announced it... he goes, 'yeah, chris you could be the next american idol....chris, you are going home.'

i think that is where is shock came from too - i mean, it was almost CRUEL the way he did it. usually he says, 'katherine, you are safe..' it was almost like he rushed it or said the wrong name and had to tell chris he was leavin!

i got in trouble with DH for saying how much i wanted him... ooops!

I was shocked with this outcome!!

I completely agree. It was really messed up how he announced it...it rolled right off his tongue.

I'm very upset with the results. I know Elliot and Taylor kicked butt last night, but in the long run, the talent belongs to Katherine and Chris.

Yeah Katherine should have gone home but ya know I hate to say it, I was never a real Chris fan. If ya saw his face, I think he was shocked that it wasn't Katherine either. Something to be said about being humble.

I agree completely Goldi. In the beginning, he was very humble. Towards the end, he was growing too confident. And the comments yesterday about all of this 'fan clubs' and the boxer/briefs question just seemed too egotistical to me.

Are we going to have a Taylor/Elliott final? Shoot me now.

That is what I said. I don't like any of the three finalists - I am boycotting. I can't believe he got the boot - I thought he sounded the best on Tuesday

ETA: Even FH said 'Wow and that guy was the best. He was the only one I liked' (and he is not basing it at all on hotness factor )

I was shocked and annoyed at the outcome, I really like Chris, I felt so sad watching that show

Look at it this way, girls: It's better that Chris went home last night b/c now AI execs. cannot get their claws into him and mold him into something he's NOT! Maybe he can still audition for Fuel...

In the end, as much as I hate to say it, I think it will be Elliot and Taylor, and I think the 'SOUL PATROL' will take it all!!

I'm Taylor's biggest fan, so I will keep watching...

WELL... I am going to be the one who gets flamed here, but here is my opinion on the whole thing.
I DID think Chris was going to win. HOWEVER - did all you people who say you are boycotting vote for him? If you did then you can complain all you want, if you didn't well...
IMO Chris was getting boring, everything he sang sounded exactly the same, with just different words. Last year Bo Bice had the same 'rocker' quality but was never boring. Chris was boring on Tues night. Katherine was off on a lot, but at least she wasn't boring.
Elliott has the best voice of all of them, well besides Mandisa who has been gone for awhile. Maybe he is not the best looking, but in terms of talent - he is the best of those left by far.
Taylor is always entertaining and is just spewing personality. He also has a good voice.

I know...I am really upset!! I say we boycot!!
