Tha's horrible! so gross!

My coworkers and I were at a bar where a former coworker bartends. One of my friends ordered a cosmo and had finished about half of it before noticing that it was starting to have a grainy taste. So she looked at it in the light and saw that there was black stuff at the bottom. So she asked the bartender what it was and the bartender said it was just sediment. But after looking at it a little closer, they found out they were fruit flies!

Instead of using the real liquor bottle to make the cosmos, the bartender had used the extra bottle of leftover liquor they use to trap fruit flies!

OMG! That is gross!
I love Clementines too and now I'm sad bc everytime I go to eat one I will think of this and have to inspect it! Which may be a good thing.. I jsut hope I'll still be able to eat them! AHH<... you didn't taste anything strange after the 1st or 2nd bites?

1st bite tasted weird but I didnt think anything of it because I was also drinking tea (weird combo I know) and I thought that it was just from a mizxture of both. Second one tasted very old so I actually spit half of it out and looked at the clementine and saw what I saw.. I will never be able to eat another one again. I know me.
