I bought my dress in March. It fit perfect. It has been at my mother's upstate since then. I got it this weekend and I tried it on and it is so tight up top. I don't know what to do? I got it at David's Bridal. Will they exchange? I know you can take a dress in but out a little? I have no idea? What should I do?

im not sure if they can take it back but sometimes when its humid your body retains water you might have just been a little bloated. i wouldnt panic you have time.

Also if it's that time of the month your body can be retaining water...I sometimes flucuate a whole size.

if it is close to or a week before your period your body is so bloated everywhere take a few water pills and you may lose that water just a thought i know when its around my time of the month my jeans feel so tight

Don't freak! Same thing happened to me... I tried on the sample dress in the store, which fit perfectly... we ordered a size up, it came in last week, and it fit snugly too - I'm thinking, I ordered a size up, it should fit loosely!! But, in the summer you gain weight... and especially a few days before your period... I always gain between 3-4 pounds a few days before my period... try it on again in the middle of your cycle...

I never thought of water gain and being bloated. I am due for my period in a week. I wasn't thinking......I was freaking! But I did make my self a promise and that was to work my butt off until the day. Thanks ladies!

This is my worst nightmare. Give yourself a week to get rid of the bloating and try it again before you go into full swing panic.
But running your hiney off is a good suggestion too!

Don't panic!! My dress was too tight and it was 3 weeks before my wedding. I buckled down and went on a diet. 2 weeks later it was fine.
I am sure they can let it out a little. They said they could do that with mine. Just try to eat right for 2 weeks (low fat, low carb) and try it on again!
