OMG. If only I had this about 10 years ago. My mom was engaged to this guy who seemed really nice. Then all of a sudden he started acting bizarre. He would run in front of fire trucks because he thought the sirens were aliens trying to read his brain. He was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic with multiple personality disorder. He had been on meds for years but didn't tell my mom.

By the way, he had an IQ of about 180, had a masters in electrical engineering and worked for NASA before he went cuckoo.

I know!! I felt bad for my mom. It was the first guy she was serious about since my dad died. She had bought a wedding dress and everything. She still runs into him occassionally in the city where she lives. She said he is so gone that he doesn't even recognize his own parents anymore.
