wow congrats what a weight off your shoulders!!! out of curiosity.. how expensive is that test to take?

Im waiting for FH to take the NYS psychology licensing exam he has been studying for 2 years - im sure he is ready but the cost to take the test is so high he wants to make sure he can pass it. No rush though since he wont be starting private practice until we get maried and have a house

I registered in November, I think it came to almost $500 between registered and then paying for the test. With study guides and classes $1100.

Not for nothing---WE should be paid to suffer through that!! JMHO

Thank you so much for all of the support you have all given me!!!! I read my post (the 2nd biggest day of my life) about 100 times before I took the test bc I just needed to see people telling me I could do it. I have been a horrible test taker for most of my educational career except for college. Once I found something I liked, I did well. In HS I was a total nightmare (you should see the looks of my teachers when they see me in the hospital!!!! )
So this was by far the scariest exam I ever took. It was hard.....it was loaded with questions I'll probably never deal with in my career...and I walked out feeling like I had no idea, either way, if I passed or failed. When I checked to see if my results were ready and I saw PLEASE LOG ON QUICK VIEW TO OBTAIN RESULTS my heart sank and I immediately called my dad to have him on the phone.....my hands were shaking.....i punched my CC # in and there it was PASS I screamed sooooooooooooo loud right into my dads ears and I balled my eyes out for a good hour. I called my friends, I called my job, I called everyone I know....finally after an HOUR FH goes 'ummmmm is it my turn yet??? congratulations' we are going out for dinner now to MELTING POT in NJ to celebrate!!!!!!!
I have a nice bottle of Dom Perignon waiting for colleen when she finds out she rocked her cpa exam!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!
