i sent out an STD to one of my BM's parents. She is a college friend and I only met her parents a few times. Somehow I wrote in his name as 'Tom' instead of 'Mark' on my guest list. I have NO idea where I got that from, if I wrote it in the wrong spot or what, or I'm just crazy.
I just realized I mailed the std addressed to the wrong name.
omg. I am freaking out. I feel like the biggest moron.
Should I pretend I don't even know? My BM didn't say anything so I don't know if she knows. When I mail out my invites I'll make sure to have the right name. What do I do lol

I went a wedding for a friend and wrote out the card to the wrong name! Just the grooms name was wrong. I don't know what I was thinking either! Haha! And so I used white out to fix it... then guess what?? I DID IT AGAIN ON THE SAME CARD LIKE A BIG HUGE DUMMY! Ehh chock it up to 'sh*t happens!'.

I just talked to her and she laughed and said it's ok. I told her to tell them I'm so sorry and to tell them it's the bride-brain hahahaha.

You are not alone. I did the same thing only to my OWN brother in law. I only know him as Vinnie. I never knew his full name ( sis eloped, no formal wedding) I assumed Vinnie is short for Vincent ..... WRONG his name Vintura!
My sister called me on it and all I could do is apologize.
If I were you I would send them a cute little personalized note blaming the innocent mishap on a faulty excel program. you can end the note off by saying something cute like 'mark' my words I promise to get it right on the invitation ..please forgive me
( this of course depends on if you think they'll be good sports about it other wise just say sorry! )

It's okay.. I'm glad they were good humored about it!!!
I sent out the invites and didn't even think to ask if my FH's stepbrother had a different last name. Of course her does... OUCH

yea they are cool ppl so they probably were just like 'huh'? hahah. I guess the worst part that it was completely random and not even close! hahhaha. I'm totally blaming it on me reading the wrong line.
This crap is so annoying- I am giving addresses to my FFIL right now bc he is writing them for me on my envelopes, and I am just saying F it and writing their 'nicknames' unless I know for sure their full name. I would totally screw it up. I would assume Vinnie would be Vincent as well.
I called my own FBIL 'Lucas' once bc I assumed that was his full name, but no, it's just 'Luke', he was like *** lol so since then I don't assume.
