OMG!! I broke my toe 3 DAYS before my wedding!!!

I've been crying hysterically for the past 5 hours. I am just beyond upset right now!!! It hurts so bad to stand on it. Mind you I broke it because FH left his work shoes in the middle of the floor and I tripped over them!! I just can't believe this!!

Oh no! Stay off if it and keep it elevated! I agree with an earlier post to get comfy shoes for the day of. I am sure that your doctor will give you anything she can to numb the pain that day.

Relax and don't put any weight in it until you have to! Hopefully rest and no working will make it more bearable on your wedding day - I'm so sorry this happened!!

awwwwwwwww!!!! i broke my toe on FH's shoe last year!!!!!!!!!! I know how bad that hurts... just a little toe can cause so much pain! don't worry though... you'll be so excited on your day that you'll forget the pain hopefully, you'd be suprised what adrenaline will do! plus, after a few days it starts to feel better, and this is a nice excuse for FH to carry you around It'll be OK... You should SO read this article in the People mag Wedding Issue.... they have real weddings and this one girl tore all the ligaments in her ankle and had the time of her life at the wedding. It would make u feel better, make someone buy it for u and elevate your foot and take tonnnnns of advil!!

Oh man!!!!!!! I so sorry to hear that!!!!!!!!! Just rest, and keep your foot elevated as much as possible. anti inflammatory drugs like Morin or Advil are super helpful and your doc can prescribe a med for pain because I know broken bones HURT!!! and OTC pain meds might not be enough. Sending you

Just keep icing that bad boy, Ice it until it hurts from being so cold. And buy those gel inserts for your shoes. It'll help. And honestly, you'll have so much adrenaline on your wedding day, you won't notice it as much as you do now.

ahhh!! im so sorry!!!!!! I broke my toe like a wk before my moms wedding and i was so worried too bc i felt like i couldnt walk on it AT ALL. Just make sure you try out which different shoes give you the right support without hurting your toe.

You poor dear I'm so sorry this happened to you but just know that one broken toe could not possibly ruin what will be an incredible day for you and you FH! Think positive, ice it a lot and stay off your feet..Please let us know how it all turns out!

I agree. The pain of a broken toe is worst on the first day and will get better. Tape it up, ice, rest, and you'll be FINE!! I agree with taking an anti-inflammatory, too.

Good luck and FEEL BETTER!! I'm so sorry this happened. It's now a good excuse to stay off your feet and try to relax before the wedding!
