The leAnn Rymes song is actually called the rose.... Bette Midler sang it in the 80's

FI liks Sade and Angel by Lionel Richie, but I feel like it's too fast beat for our first song, so I was going to dedicate it to him, after we cut the cake!!!

My lyrics web site isn't working!!!

Allison Krauss:
When You Say Nothing At All
(
It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all

'When You Say Nothing At All'

It's amazing
How you can speak
Right to my heart
Without saying a word,
You can light up the dark
Try as I may
I could never explain
What I hear when
You don't say a thing

[CHORUS:]
The smile on your face
Lets me know
That you need me
There's a truth
In your eyes
Saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says
You'll catch me
Whenever I fall
You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all

All day long
I can hear people
Talking out loud
But when you hold me near
You drown out the crowd
(The crowd)
Try as they may
They can never define
What's been said
Between your
Heart and mine

[Repeat chorus twice]

(You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all
You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all)

The smile on your face
The truth in your eyes
The touch of your hand
Let's me know
That you need me

[Repeat chorus]

(You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all
You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all)

The smile on your face
The truth in your eyes
The touch of your hand
Let's me know
That you need me

(You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all
You say it best
When you say
Nothing at all)

Re: OMG! I can't choose a first dance song?

SADE - Kiss Of Life Lyrics
There must have been an angel by my side
Something heavenly led me to you
Look at the sky
It's the color of love
There must have been an angel by my side
Something heavenly came down from above
He led me to you
He led me to you
He built a bridge to your heart
All the way
How many tons of love inside
I can't say

When I was led to you
I knew you were the one for me
I swear the whole world could feel my heartbeat
When I lay eyes on you
Ay ay ay
You wrapped me up in
The color of love

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

Wasn't it clear from the start
Look the sky is full of love
Yeah the sky is full of love
He built a bridge to your heart
All the way
How many tons of love inside
I can't say

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

You wrapped me up in the color of love
Must have been an angel come down from above
Giving me love yeah
Giving me love yeah

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss of life
The kiss of life

Fall In Love lyrics
I don't know what it is tonight
Your smile, your eyes, yeah
Even in a candlelight
You shine so bright
And you're so beautiful
More beautiful than you've ever been
I catch my breath
And fall in love again

I can't imagine where I'll be without you with me
I need you every day more than words can say
I want you in the life
And for all the life
This night will never end
You take my hand
And I fall in love again

I've been sure that a miracle
could've brought you here to me
When I'm with you
Heaven's all I see
All I see

Caught up in ever touch
I feel the rush of this moment back when we're here
Each time we kiss
I fall in love again
I can't resist
I fall in love again

Re: OMG! I can't choose a first dance song?

The Rose Lyrics
Some say love, it is a river, that drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor, that leads your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger, and endless aching need
I say love it is a flower and you it's only seed

It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes a chanceIt's
the one, who won't be taken who can not seem to give
And the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live

When the night has been to lonely and the road has been to
longAnd you find that love is only for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter for 'neath the bitter snow
Lies the seed that with the sun's love in the spring becomes the
rose.

I absolutely love 'When you Say Nothing At All' I love the part in Notting Hill when they play it too. I begged FH to have that be our song but it didnt do it for him so we picked something we both love.
