OMG i figured out my theme!!!! need advice and ideas!
Ladies i'm so excited.. I need some feedback and ideas!!! i thought about this while doing mountains of paperwork..anyway...here it goes:
FH and I met in Wall street., we both work for the same bank...he's from bk and i'm from jersey... we now live in jersey and will be married on december in jersey... we knew that we wanted our epics to be at nyc landmarks:wall street, grand central, bryant park
I really want my bm dresses to be black with very simple hair and makeup, and some elegant earrings..
our RH will already have its xmas decorations in time for our wedding, I really did not want to add more xmas decor to the existing xmas theme (ornament favors, ornament place holders, xmas type drinks/treats)
Soooo in doing some research...i came up with a NYC theme !!!!!! ahhh i'm so siked!!!!
so far i've thought of the following :
- our epics will be in NYC so our gbook will be full of NYC pics - photo gift box - NYC pics - table numbers - photos of NYC landmarks
can you guys give me other ideas? i was thinking the followoing for favors:

do you guys think they're cheesy? and what abt my single guests? willl they hate them??

i think its cuteee!!!
althought i wouldnt do the cab favor....
everything sounds so classy like black-n-white chic....the cabs just look a bit cartoon-y. JMO.
but everythign else i like!

do you like the snow globe better? or something completely different? thx for your input!!! it def needs to be classy...i think they're cute too..but ure right might be too cartoonish

love that idea!!!!! i was trying to think of something edible for you to give and all i could think is NY bagels or pizza lol....the ny style cheesecake would be awesome! MAybe you can get it from Juniors!

09er crashing....my cousin had bags of bagel chips with her monogram and a copy of the NY Times (I forget if it was like a late or early edition) as her favor. Everyone liked it and i know hadn't seen it before. Plus it was mostly edible and people could just recycle the paper if they didn't want it. Just a thought, but I'm sure girls will come up with lots of ideas.

I would do a favor that's a taxi cab cookie that says just married on the back.
Also, maybe you could get a cart to serve pretzels or nuts at your e-party if you want to tie it in?
Your table numbers could be named after icons instead of numbered 'Rockafeller Plaza' wither a picture or you guy there, 'Statue of Liberty,' 'Central Park,' etc...

his idea of favor...the nutcracker!!1 maybe an ornament? since it is xmastime
