i found out through the grapevine that my shower invites are out!! i am not so excited about it... PLUS SHE PUT A PICTURE OF ME ON THE FRONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no it is just that i hate being the center of attention and feeling like this

Awww don't worry! I SO hate being the center of attention, too! I was so worried about my shower b/c FH isn't there w/ me to share some of the spotlight, but it went great (aside from some BP drama but that is totally unrelated to my hating attention LOL).
You will have a blast and get SO many awesome gifts!!!

Oh, it will be fun! I was the same way, but I did end up enjoying it. Its one of the only times that it will be all about YOU...so enjoy it!
My mom and sisters had found tons of pics of me over the years (some not so flattering) and displayed them at the shower. It was pretty bad.

NO YOU ARE NOT! Can I tell you, I love attention but I found the whole shower thing to be stressful and awkward. But on the bright side, you get lots of presents. If you can pull it off, try to have kids at the shower, they tend to take attention off you, I had two of my little cousins help me unwrap gifts and I found it really helpful since i concentrated on them, not the 70 people looking at me
