OMG, I'm going to cry!

OMG, I'm going to cry!

I tried on Maggie Sottero's Royal Romance with the A-line skirt a year or so ago, and I'm trying to find my gown now, and the A-line version is discontined :(

That is the dress I keep looking at others and it just isn't as good.

Now what do I do???

If it's something you really want you can look for a bride who is reselling that gown - in fact I just saw it now on a different message board but is a size 4 it says with a certiciate of authenticity. Of course sometimes these gowns are used but often a bride will sell a dress after choosing another (so it's unworn.) FM me if you want more info.

Also if you're a sample size, call the designer company and ask which salons might still have the sample (some designers keep track of which size sample is where.) Then you can still find it. I remember seeing that dress, it's nice! Good luck and FM me if you want.

I sent you an FM about where it is available.

Unfortuantely, I'm not a sample size, so that isn't an option. (I think I need a size 14 (bridal size-grr))

I've looked on ebay, but unfortuantely, the only ones I've seen are the ballgown/box pleated skirt - not the A-line version, which is what I was looking for :( Even the fakes are all the ballgown/box pleated skirt. I'd totally be open to a fake A-line version! I'll have to keep looking, because as I think about it, every dress I've basically thought 'well, I like this, but I like RR better' - I tried it on so early on in the planning (we got engaged new years 03/04, we're getting married 2006 - I tried on the dress March(ish?) 2004 - and since I pretty much knew at that point that the wedding wasn't happening until '06, I figured it was waaay to early to buy a dress)

I've looked since then, but didn't notice until now that the A-line version is discontined (I have no idea when they discontinued it!))

Hey thanks for sending me an FM... I think I found it for you (at least I hope so)!!! Please check your FM asap. Be very careful though because many of the websites don't have a certificate of authenticity. You should fax it to the Maggie designer before purchasing the gown so you can verify that it's real. I know exactly what it's like to lust after a gown haha.

ETA: This is the A line version someone is selling, not ballgown, and in ivory.
