For those of you who have read my dilemma about my possible BM for the wedding party...
short recap - she's not a real good friend, cuz i was always trying to make our friendship work.. and I'm always calling her, and she never makes an effort really.... but i've been friends with her since we were in 1st grade....
well.... I just got a phone call from her.. i was going to let it go to voicemail.. but i decided to pick up. mind you a couple weeks ago, I was going to delete her from my phone book. because she never called me for thanksgiving when she was suppose to come up to come visit me... so fed up me decided to pick up the phone... she's in NY and wants to get together wed or thurs, i'm a little reluctant but also excited go out... but i'll ask FH what he thinks.. i'm so indifferent right now.. i dunno what to do...
do you ladies think i should go see her?

I have a friend like that also, and I know its hard to let go but I have done that. I used to call all the time and she never did. We went to two different colleges hours apart and only saw each other when we were both home.
The past year it has been different. I have hardly seen her, she came home a few times (I live here now) and never called when promised to. Its a one sided friendship I decided I couldnt deal with anymore.
I know its upsetting but you will feel better about it in the long run.

Ive had and gotten rid of ALOT of friends like that... so has fh...
his friends were all into drinking and going to clubs and we werent because he doesnt really drink...
and instead of meeting 50/50 and going out to eat with us or something else, they just didnt care....
I dont know, im happy with the group of friends i have left...the ones who call everyd ay and i call....
