OMG just remembered something funny from my wedding....

or obnoxious, depending on how you look at it....

When Brett & I made our entrance into the reception, we walked in all giddy and ecstatic, and right there on the bride's side - my very own family (aunts, uncles) held up METS PENNANTS!!!

You shoulda seen the look I gave them!

They toyed with the idea of Red Sox pennants but they knew that would get ugly!

My niece got a kick out of the pennants and would wave them at me. I'm hoping Duet got a good picture of me wacking her on the butt with the pennant!


And if my review is too long for ya- you might miss that my bouquet ended up getting stuck in the ceiling during the toss!

That is so hysterical especially being a Mets fan myself

And your bo-k getting stuck All of these things that were not planned will make your wedding even more memorable!

Hee hee...very cute of them...I am a die hard Mets fan...however, I will watch the Yankees with FH...yet I detest the Red Sox....they are sooo annoying...

Plus, I imagine that if they had Red Sox pennants you might have been in the news...and not for a wedding annoucement!

Sounds like you had a BLAST! I am in trouble for my wedding. I'm a Mets fan. FH is a Red Sox fan. The rabbi and the deacon are both Yankees fans. At least the World Series will be over by then!
