OK, So tuesday is my BIL's bday.. So apparently they are having some kind of party for him out east (which will take us an hour to get to on sunday) YUCK, i hate doing things on sundays!!! but whatever, then because i invited him to franks birthday dinner on franks bday, (you might remember my dumb ass bil didnt want to come because his girlfriend was getting her nails done) and they actually did show up, and he didnt have a present for him, so i guess he felt guilty so he paid for dinner.. so when he told frank about the party he said and I WANT YOU GUYS TO GO TO HOUSTONS WITH US ON MY BIRTTHDAY!! which i think is total bs because he had never been there before we took him and he OBVIOUSLY wants us to pay, fine whatever, well pay for dinner, ill watch them feast ( they do this every time, one time we took them out for dinner while we were in lake george, you think they would be shy NOOOOOOOO they ate lobster and filet, and had apps and dessert and drinks!!! )

So anyway, i am NOT buying this guy a bday present and i know that i am going there on sunday and i am going to BLOW my stack if i see everyone giving presents to him., when not one GOD DAMMM member of franks family bought him a bday present.. i dont know how long i will be able to hold my tongue, i dont even want to go, but frank does so i guess i have to for a little while...

Can you have a 'headache' that day and let Frank go alone? Why do you have to go? This is now what I will be doing with Frankie!!

Suzanne - First, I love the title of this post. I remember you speaking of Frank's Birthday and what happened. I know how irritating it can get at times with inlaws, belive me!! Just wanted to tell you to hang in there.

my husband's family never buys him b-day gifts and it is because we live in NY and they live in MA so they do not see him for his birthday. they also do not get me one, even though I have never missed any of their birthdays and have sent gives via mail everytime. Finally I got feed-up and now I only send a card. I refuse to get myself upset over their 'ways' of doing things.
I suggest you learn to just not buy gifts and deal. It is not worth your aggreviation.

thanks everyone... his family just aggravates me... in my family my mom and dad would never buy my sis a present for her bday and not me. and thats exactly what they do for holidays and birthdays i think its TERRIBLE...

I am going to relax and go for a little while i guess..
