OMG...Saddest news in a Loooong time:(

Hi girls,

talked to my mom tonight and we were talking about heart problems Because a good friend of mine who was only 43 just had a massive one and died....

Well, Mom tells me that a little girl in Southampton was at her friends houst and went into the bathroom to put on her bathing suit, she took a long time, so the friends mother opened the door, and found her lying down on the ground---she died from a massive Heart attack----SHE WAS ONLY 6 YEARS OLD!!!!! Never sick, no problems, went for her yearly checkups, etc..etc....soo soo sooo sad...her family is very well known in Southampton...so, any thoughts anf prayers for her family are welcome...altho they won;t bring back this little girl

When I had acid reflux & was on my HM i swear i thought i was having a heart attack. It could happen to anyone.

That is very sad. My BIL was healthy as a horse, except a bit over weight. So it was about 2-3 months before thanksgiving 1999, he went for a check and was told other then losing some wieght he was fine. Monday after thanksgiving he has a heart something and dies. Leaves behinda 28 year old wife, 3 year old sone and 3 month old daughter. He was only 30, but from what the Dr. said he is lucky he lived that long. He had a heart condition that is not noticed unless actually looked. It is something that developes when you are a teenager and if it doesn't you will never get it. Bad side is its can be inheritd. DH does not have and his kids do not have a sign of it, but need to be checked yearly. My BIL was lucky to make it to 30 and this problems usually kills when you are a teenager-young adult. It developes mostly in atheletes(he was a football player). They are finding out that even young people have heart problems. It is very scary. Even our children will need to be tested until they are young adults.

this is too sad - a friend of ours mom is friends with the girls grandmother and went to the funeral (if its the same girl) and she was heartborken - spent the whole day with her own grandaughter when she got home.....i can't imagine how horrible this is...that poor family
