Try the brooklyn botanical gardens - Super modern Ive been to two weddings there. The outside garden is amazinngggggg

I second the Metropolitan. It is a really special place, unique& modern.. no carpet!! I booked there for September!

I went and looked at the Metropolitan but IMO it was too small for my guest list of a little under 200. They say it fits 200 but when I was looking around I felt like it would be cramped. But it defiantly is modern looking.

I have not but its on my list of places to go.. I put everything on pause for a while as I am going away next month and I am planning our daughter's 2nd bday party, but once I am done with all this I will be back it!!!!

ladies who have seen bridgeview.. I am on the site and it look AMAZING... BUT, the dance floor looks really small will this ball room fit 220 guests?

I checked out that place and liked it. the floor in the reception room is all wood (there may be carpeting by the bar though).

Also, lombardis on the bay. we looked there too. they don't have any carpeting. Just tiled floors.

both places were nice, but we actually like the separate the carpet gave and a wood dance floor, so those venues were for us.

where did u book? and what other places do u see I am starting to not mind the carpet or else I am going to drive myself crazy...

I am starting to lean towards the Surf Club, BYC, going to see the Inn NHP.. and i dont know where else

HI! Good luck looking!! I was miserable looking the last few months especially in this terrible weather!
I looked at about 7 places and went back to Bridgeview Yacht Club 4 times before finally booking. I lovedddddd it there and it's one wedding at a time. The ballroom is huge, the dance floor is pretty big also. You should check it out. Loved it.
