OMG sooo scared! (kinda long)UPDATED

sooooo here's the story.....

When FH proposed, he was out of work for a few months....and broke. But we knew he'd be working soon. He didn't have $ for a ring, and I had told him it didn't have to be a diamond....white saphire or even a cz would do...i just knew we wanted to get married in the summer, and wanted SOME kinda ring....

what i got was this ring that doesnt even look like an engagement ring...it's an emerald ( i hate emeralds) and was yellow gold (i only wear white)

I had it dipped...it still looked awful. No band would fit against it, even if i had one made...so i told him i would have to move it to my right hand, and i would want a blingy wedding band...he said no prob (he's working again)

So i go to attias yesterday just to look around, at this booth my friend gets all her jewelery from....and hate the way just the band looks on my finger. I love the look of the bridal SET....

so he pulls a set out and i fall in LOOOOOOOOVE! It's a quad-set princess engagement ring and matching wedding band, and for the same price a nice band with larger diamonds would have been. He gave me a crazy good deal on it and I did something totally out of character....I BOUGHT IT!

now i'm so scared to tell FH....Like REALLY scared. wanted to tell him last night, but he had a rough day at work so it wasnt the right time.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE say a prayer that he's not upset.....
and how do i tell him??????

I told him, and he was happy i found something i loved, and that he didn't have to go shopping for it....i was worried for nothing...

Just be honest! Tell him there's something you want to talk about. I'm sure he knows that you weren't happy with your first ring.

I think the only thing he'd be upset about is that you didn't tell him first before buying it. Maybe he would've wanted to buy it for you and gone together.

Tell him you fell in love and didn't want to lose out on the deal or the possibility of it being sold.

Either way, congrats on your new ring I'm sure it'll work out. He'll probably be happy as long as your happy.

Awwwww~don’t be scared! Just be honest and tell him what happened, that it was such a great deal and you couldn’t pass it up. The only thing that I could see him getting upset about is that you payed for it, but your $ is his $ and his $ is your $, so what’s the diff.
