OMG Teething Questions

OMG Teething Questions

My Olivia is only 3 and 1/2 months and started screaming Sat. night at the top of her lungs - she is in so much pain.
Now for my questions -
I am giving her baby oragel - is this OK?
I tried the teething rings and they just make her scream even louder - they are no help - the only thing that helps is the oragel -
She has been such a great baby - she has had no problemes with gas - changing over to formula from breast milk - nothing has seemed to bother her until now -
is there anything I can do to help her deal with this pain? What is your opinion on the oragel?
Thanks!!!!!

Re: OMG Teething Questions

The box should say the recommended age for Orajel. She might be too young. CAll your Dr to doublecheck.
Poor baby !

We went through that crying fit on JA's christening day. It winded up being the start of an ear infection. Any other symptoms?

Put a pacifier in the freezer & let her bite on that! Patrick loved it!!! The pacifier is better then a teether when they are small. IMO

I have heard a frozen washcloth is great. Is it definitely teething? It's not unheard of but she is pretty young.

Hope she feels better soon

frozen washcloths, refrig pacifiers..are what I have heard works.
let us know what your dr says

Julianne has been drooling, sticking hands in the mouth, and having 'seedy' diapers...(sorry if gross)...all of which are signs of teething.
this started at 3-1/2 months too

Emma started drooling like MAD when she was about 3 months... she didnt get her first tooth till 6 1/2 months. Just keep that in mind.

Is your little one biting on EVERYTHING? Are you sure its her teeth?? Are her gums swollen? Can you give her Tylenol? Can you feel bumps?

They make teethers that vibrate. Also the wet cold wash cloth is a great idea.

Good Luck!! I hope she feels better soon.
