Ok guys I am soooooooooo freaking out right now. I am getting married in 36 days and one of my bridesmaids ordered her dress 3 months ago at the bridal store where I ordered by dress that will remain nameless at the moment....
All my other girls ordered dresses elsewhere and they have all received them and are in the process of finishing alterations!
So my aunt (bridesmaids mom) because she is 14 calls and asks like hello is the dress in. (Mind you, they NEVER called me when my DRESS was in and were SNOTTY on the phone when I called and they said hunny we do not call anyone unless it is 8-10 weeks before and I was like ok well I am getting married in 6) OMG- so my aunt calls and they tell my aunt that they NEVER ordered her dress because I never told them to!!!!!!!!!
THEY ARE ABSOLUTE LIARS because I called and told them due to fact that all of my girls live in queens/manhattan I would only have 1 girl getting the dress there! NOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT I NEVER CALLED!!!! Meanwhile I talked to one of those YOUNG girls who work there omg i want to die.......
I WANT TO FLIP OUT BUT I AM AT WORK RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!
If my dress wasnt there getting altered I would call and make the biggest deal.......

I would wait until I pick up my dress, then before leaving the store ask to speak to the manager and LET ER RIP.

That is horrible and certainly a stress you don't need right now. What is the store doing to try to fix this?
Can you see if another store has a sample of the same dress or something similar? Since she's 14, you could have her in a coordinating dress and it would still look fine.

Is she a JR Bridesmaid? I ask because if she is, you may be able to buy a dress in the same color as the other BMs but a different style. Some shops let you buy there floor samples and if it's close enough to her size you can get it altered.

Get a manager on the phone and make a big deal about it. And no matter what they tell you, they can definitely get a dress rushed in 3 weeks. My friend got married in November and our dresses came in about a month before the wedding and they ordered the wrong size for me and it was too small. They told me that I must have gained weight, which I didn't and that it would be impossible to get a new dress in time. After arguing with 3 different people until I finally got to the manager of the store - they ordered me a new dress free of charge and I had it a week before the wedding. They can get it rushed for you - just make them get it done asap. Do whatever you have to do - tell them you'll bad mouth them all over this website if you have to (that usually works)!

DEFINATELY DO THIS! I WOULD NOT WAIT UNTIL I WAS PICKING UP MY DRESS TO RAISE ALL HELL!!! They CANNOT do anything to your dress because you are complaing about another dress. You HAVE to make a big stink about this or you will not have a dress! They should appologize for their lack of efficiency and fix this problem. They sound like they have bad bad customer service skills... but they should just take the complaint as is and not try to argue you on weather or not you called! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT this! I always say to pick and choose your battles... and THIS IS ONE TO FIGHT FOR! Or you won't have a dress. They should even give you a discount on it just for all this hassle and for their F*ck up! ALWAYS get names of who you speak to so you know who to ream when they mess up like this! I have to admit though... I sometimes don't get a name. Bad Kerri!

Try RK bridal they may be able to rush order it for you.
