Omg Unbelievable!

So - About 2 weeks ago I posted on here that I got a new job that I was to start April 1st. Well, Friday was my last day at my current job and since we got out early we decided to go for some drinks. An hour or two into us celebrating, I get a call from the employment lady who got me my new job. She tells me that due to Citibank's massive layoff on Monday that I basically don't have a new job anymore (i work in title insurance and basically we do closings for people who re-finance with Citibank). I cannot go back to my old job... they underpay and they really treat everyone like ****. SO right now I'm on the prowl for a new job but can you even believe how messed up this is? If you know anyone that's hiring please let me know. The FH is being really supportive and totally understands why I can't beg for my job back but also wants me to get a job asap. So I guess until then - I will be on careerbuilder and LIW all day tee hee. Thanks for reading if you made it this far

Thank You everyone... I really appreciate it. I am on a massive job hunt and hopefully will go on some interviews this week. I've learned that unfortunately, this is the business world and it just wasn't meant to be. The good thing is - the FH has vacation this week so we get to hang out together all week
