OMG - we finally rented Borat...

And watched it last night...

I laughed so hard I thought for sure I was gonna go into labor last night!!!!

How could some of those people not realize they were being the butt of jokes though?????

I was morally opposed to Borat and refused to watch it

but then FH rented it in a hotel room one night and that was it - it is HYSTSERICAL

so much for my moral high ground lol!

funny story

we got Borat from Netflix to watch it again. So i went to mail it back and i saw the DVD just said Borat in marker on it. So i thought that FH had made a copy and put THAT in the envelope on accident. SO i freak out on him and go on and on about how its a federal offense to make a copy and my name is on the account and what if i get in trouble for it.

So he has NO IDEA what i am talking about bc he hasnt looked at the DVD - so finally i am like 'And you make your Rs backwards what is wrong with you that is so embarassing!'

that is when he started cracking up and he showed me that the real Borat DVD is made to look like a bootleg.

I tried that! I 1/4 cup of it in fact. I just ended up on the bowl for a couple of hours and baby was STILL 11 days late.

OOPS well it worked for my SIL!

at least you cleared the way for the baby!!

i think i seriously almost stopped breathing in the movie theatre watching that film.

Maybe I need to watch it again. I thought it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen, We had to struggle to not turn it off!

You have to be in the mood, high or drunk to watch this movie - or you have to enjoy that kind of humor.

When we went to see it we were 15 minutes in and I looked at Dan (FH) and said 'OK, how long is this movie?' Only an hour 1/2? Ok - I can take it....

As soon as I relaxed and stopped feeling bad for all the people he was making a complete ASSS out of I started to laugh - although it was hard to believe that some of the crap he pulled was allowed and that these people truly didn't get it.

Some of it was pretty disturbing if you ask me. He totally took advantage of people. Whatever, he got what he was looking for and people either love him for it or hate him for it.

I did laugh but I didn't love it. Some of the catch phrases are cool - High Five-ah! VERY NICEAH!

to each his own...

i just saw it for the first time last friday....at first i thought it was stupid, but by the end i found myself laughing and felt guitly about it. i want to see it again, i heard its better the second time. i dont need to see anymore male nudity though vomitatious!

Believe me - I was a week over due and my little man was over 9 lbs. I was dying in the hot July heat (100s) and I still wouldnt take that! I did try everything else however, which didnt work
I had to be induced.
