OMG... why do people have to be so stupid??

OMG... why do people have to be so stupid??

Ok seriously.. I have a coworker who is off the wall but lately her comments have been crazy!!! for the past two days we have gotten stuck in the elevator ride up to our office and she has asked me the same quesiton.. 'so is everything in place for your big day?' .. well since nothing has really changed in the last two days, today I told her well 'as much as can be for now, there are always little things to do' and she says 'still? what could be left to do ... if you dont have it all in place by now, you are in trouble!' OMG Why do you ask then??? Then she proceeds to tell me that my wedding is on a 'weird' weekend and we will probably have no shows or poeple who will not respond because they dont know what they are doing vacation wise yet... OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I dont need this at 9am And the truth is we are getting a lot more no's then I thought... so Im stressing over it and then she said that and I just wanted to flip on her

What a dork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry you had to deal with that at 9 am! I get that ALL the time from people! It's such a PITA!!!

It's amazing the stupidity that comes out when planning a wedding. I'm sorry she is causing you to be upset. Don't worry about it. I like that you're having it on that weekend. People are always happy and into summer mode then. And just think - they have the rest of the weekend to enjoy as well. Those who are your friends and family who love you aren't going to be thinking 'Oh this is infringing on my 4th of July' - they're going to be thinking 'YAY - we can't wait for her wedding!!!'

thats what we thought too! we figured everyone is off that friday, so they dont have to take the day off and then have the rest of the weekend too! and we love that weekend, its so feel-good.. thanks!

People are so stupid.. I think this lady definitely deserves a punching!!!

Don't stress the no shows.. We invited 272 people and we didn't even make our 150 minimum! You day will be amazing no matter what happens!!!

Thanks Nikki .. I couldnt stop thinking about you this.. I kept telling FH a girl at the GTG is getting married this friday I hope the weather is nice for her!

Im not sure... they are just saying no.. lol.. she was married but her husband ended up being gay and they got a divorce - crazy right - and then he killed himself.. its acutally really, really sad but that was like years ago. She is 65 now and she has been with this other guy now for like 14 years and he is younger than her, so she is happy in her personal life now..

Awww hunny Im so sorry Well, its better off that you have people at your wedding who truly want to be there and want to be a part of your special day.

Wow, that is a sad story!!! But she doesnt need to be rude about it. Sometimes people make rude comments on purpose to just p iss you off. Don't let her get to you and make you 2nd guess your choice. Your wedding is going to be beautiful

people are stupid and really should just not say anything, rather than just saying something stupid in an attempt to make conversation.

That being said, it is honestly true that no matter who does or doesn't make it to your wedding, your day will be amazing, and the absolute truth is on that day, your wedding day, you really won't even care. Some people will have valid reasons, some won't.
Just to be sure to enjoy your day! It's your wedding and that gives you the right to have it any day you choose. Those that really want to celebrate your day will be there no matter where or when it is.

Don't worry about the 'nos.' I'll bet most of them are from the economy and not the date you chose. I really like your date for a wedding actually! You will have a beautiful day and all the people who matter to you most will come.
