OMG...Who did I piss off in a past life?
So 2 months ago, I ask my graphic designer FMIL to re-create the hotel cards b/c the hotel would only give me 25 . I wanted to send the info with the STD's. I bought cardstock for her. So here we are 2 months later and it's still not done despite me asking her to have it done by April 1st. So last night I call her and say, are you doing this or not. She tells me she would do it last night.
At 7:30 a.m. she calls me to tell me that she got some of them done but her printer ran out of ink so if I want to replace her ink cartridge for her very sophisticated printer she'll finish them. What? I don't think so. What the f does this look like over here? If I wanted to pay to have it done, I would have. I thought since she's not kicking in a dime towards this wedding she could handle the reproduction of hotel cards. I tell her I'll just take what she has. I pick them up...it's on regular crappy printer paper, not the cardstock I specifically bought! I was so angry I don't say anything.
I take a look at them...SHE SPELLED MY NAME WRONG! I am so upset and angry. Who does that?! My name is totally generic! She made me wait 2 months for this and now she is further delaying me mailing them out. Tomorrow I'm just taking them to the printer.
Thanks for nothing Mom-in-law-to-be! I can't believe my FH was raised by her. I don't know how he turned out so awesome. Add that to one of the world wonders.
