On a happier note..
Since my posts have been nothing but depressing lately, let me post something happy for a change.
You'll all be happy to know that Joe and I finally bought another car for me!! Our little Bear Cub is now driving around town in an Envoy and the front grill just so happens to bear (no pun intended
) her initials GMC!!!
In the midst of the hell on Thursday, I had to go pick this up and wasn't in the mood, but my wonderful hubby thought that if I drove my own car, I wouldn't pay attention, so he made me drive the new car home. The only thing I need to get used to is how high up it is compared to my car, which was so low.
And now we own 4 cars. Do not ask me why we need 4 cars (2 for him and 2 for me
) or where we park these 4 cars -- I've been playing valet parker so that I can have the new car in front of the house. I'm sure the neighbors are going to get ticked off that I'm saving spots, but oh well. Of course, they are the first ones to park in 2 spots, but whatever.
I told him to get rid of his Mazda, but no can do. It has almost 170,000 miles on it and it seems to be like the Enegizer Bunny or a Timex watch -- it keeps on going. I told him that when something goes wrong on it, out the door it goes and he looked at me and told me that he'll do the same thing with me!!
The nerve! Keep dreaming buddy, I'm not that easy to get rid of!!!!
Of course, that's Joe's way of trying to cheer me up, which of course just goes over my head and I call him a pianculo and walk away.![]()
