How much are you spending on your accessories? I'm just trying to get a budget. Is $200 for a necklace a lot, or is it just me?

I think it depends if you can wear it again, if you can't yeah I think it is, if you're gonna wear it again after the wedding I think it justifies it

i really want a Miriam Haskell necklace, but since they start at $400 and go to easily over 2k, I have to keep looking. I don't think I can justify that to myself, and I am the Queen of excuses!

I know how you feel though...I really want a statement necklace for the reception and I know I'm not gonna fall in love with one that's $20 lol

I was VERY frugal with my dress and my grandmother is making my veil, so I want a RIDICULOUS headpiece.

In that case get a Thomas Knoell! His stuff is ridiculously gorgeous and very pricey.

My bracelet was $25...I didn't get earrings yet, but I am hoping to spend no more than $25

I found a necklace I REALLLLLLLLY liked but wouldn't buy it bc it was $200. It was also the kind of necklace I wouldn't wear again bc its a little too much to wear to a party IMO.

3 months after I saw that necklace I still didn't find anything that compared to it so I went back & bought it. I think $200 is alot of money but I couldnt find anything I liked as much so I splurged

Spend whatever makes you happy!

Re: On a related note

I spent $100 on my first set of earrings & necklace. (Kohl's)
Hair combs came to $50. (Kiosk in Smithhaven Mall)
Found my second set of earrings & necklace for $20 (ebay)
Bracelet was found in the city (garment district) $3.
Veil bought off another bride $50
Shoe clips (Brooches from Sears) - $18.

So total I spent $240

If you find something you really love, then it's worth it.

Do whatever is in your budget but if you find something you really really love then splurge! You deserve it!
