My dad chose 'Just the Way You Are' by Billy Joel as our father/daughter dance song. I like it obviously, I'm just wondering if it's a little silly since FH and I are dancing to She's Got a Way as our first dance, and the songs are kinda similar. I would have preferred Lullaby myself, but I wanted him to choose it, so one more check off the list!

Aww my father and I danced to that song as well...it was great so I def recommend it. We had 2 rascal flatts songs...our 1st dance and FH and his mother's dance...it was fine especially bc the dances are spread apart...

It's far enough apart time-wise that people aren't really going to notice the similarity in the songs. I think they're both beautiful, and you should go with what your dad picked out.
We danced to 'In my life' by the Beatles (me and my dad). He kept trying to change his mind as we got closer to the wedding day, but I made him stick to his original choice because I love the beatles and thought it was a good pick.
