We need to give the hall a final Head count tomorrow so they can calc the amount we owe the day of. Actual # 139 Min 125 would you give the actual # or low ball it in-case of no-shows? A few responces were only verbal.

Good ques...curious myself. If you low balled it then their wouldn't be a place setting for them right? What happens if they do show?

actual number, otherwise if they show up, there won't be a place setting for them

no matter what, the hall will count the # of dinners they have to put out. you can low-ball a little bit, but no matter what they will be prepared if someone shows up.
if you low ball and have no shows that might work out better (money wise) cause if you say 150 are coming and only 146 show up, you probably will pay for the 150 ahead of time anyway.
but if you pay for 146 and 150 show up, they will be able to say '4 add'l ppl showed up based on teh dinner plates we sent out' and then you just pay the difference
