how many times does it take for you to ask your FH to do something, BEFORE HE ACTUALLY DOES IT?!??!?!
It depends how much I nag the first time, but it usually takes about 4-5 times of me repeating myself for him to do something........then ontop, I get, 'WHY ARE U TELLING ME AGAIN?'
I asked him atleast 15 times to order checks for our JT acct from Chase so that when I have to pay vendors or whatever, I can write a check (his friends work at the bank and get things the next day and dont charge)........I went to take out $ for a deposit, this is the 5th time I am charged $8 fee for a certified check, because HE STILL HASNT ORDERED THE FKN CHECKS....
so annoying.

HA! I couldnt agree more. I am still waiting for him to do something that I asked him to do back in August....yes, August. I ever so sweetly reminded him the morning and he was like 'oh sh*t, yeah, sorry'.

It depends on what it is. I only had to ask once last night for him to take the garbage out. Other times, I have to ask at least 5 times, lol.

It's not that I have to ask him over and over, because if I just ask over and over, he still won't do it. I have to scream. I think he enjoys when I get mad.

So true. I can tell my FH something 87 times and he won't remember and/or believe me. But his boys can tell him that Jesus Christ is naked, sitting on a mule and drinking at Croxleys and he would never even second guess it.

The seat on the toilet in our master bathroom is loose. It has been loose since we moved into the house. That was November 12th... it is still loose. I refuse to fix it myself out of principal...

Oh it's bad. Even when I give him a list, he forgets things!!!
That's why I do most things myself.

it depends..if he knows its something important he will do it right away. If not maybe 1 or 2 reminders.

depends on what it is.
if its a 'right now' thing he's pretty good about only having to be asked once.
if its like 'hey next week could you' then i will remind him several times.
i dont know if its good or bad to be like this but... i honestly just dont ask him to do stuff unless i really need him to because its not worth the hassle of asking. i save favors for the big stuff.
