On the edge...looking for a job is killing me

So I graduated from Pace University in May with a BA degree in Marketing..Probably one of the most competitive fields right now. I've been searching for a descent paying job for months now and the more expense I have to deal with because of the wedding, the more stressed I'm becoming!

You are all so helpful on this site with wedding related things, but I just thought I'd put myself out there and see if anyone knew of any good marketing, administrative, or customer service related job openings in the New York area.

It would mean a great deal to me. Please FM with any info you might have.

I wish I knew of an opportunity, but did want to say hi to a fellow Pace grad. I got my MBA there. graduated last year.

by the way did u try using Pace's job board? thats how I got my job

i totally understand how you feel. i graduated in may with a ba in sociology and have been looking for a job for the past few months. it is all so stressful. i have seriously lost count of the number of resumes and applications i have put out

Are you oppossed to working in Manhattan? If not you should definitely try using some head hunters. FM if you need suggestions.

Yep I've been checking periodically. I got my internship with the NYSE through them but haven't seen anything good since.

I got my MBA from Fordham and I'm also looking...it can def be frustrating, but hang in there!

I'm stuck in an Accounting Office because I can't find anything related to my friend either.

I graduated with a Masters in English in 2006 and I'm pretty sure I'm stuck here... the money is good, I have health benefits and since I work with FH and his family, they're lenient on vacation time.

The problem is...

I HATE my job! Ugh, what's a writer/proofreader doing in accounting??????
