On the heels of Tammy Jill's post....

I did say something this weekend and I wish I could take it back.

We went out to dinner with our Best Man for his 30th B-day- His sometime girlfriend was with him.
I cannot keep up with them - off and on.

She is always nagging him about marriage, he says he wants to but is not financially stable to do so now.

Well anyway I noticed she was wearing a name ring on her left finger (ring finger) So I said to her totally not thinking- I am very superstitous and I have heard that if you wear the ring on that finger it is bad luck ( prolonging marriage). I felt so bad after I said it because this girl is so desperate to be married. FH said I should not have said anything.

I really was not thinking and I apologized to her later. She seemed ok about it.

I would say don't sweat it!! You can't take it back but I think you did the right thing by apologizing. We all say things at times that we think about after and realize we shouldn't of said it. I've been there...

No matter what you said she is still going to have her eagerness to be married so don't worry your head. It will happen for he in time.

who knows that email I got may or may not be true lol
she said she was okay w/ it so I am sure things are fine and you did apologize

Kiesha I am the same, I amblunt but never mean harm but sometimes it seems that way
